Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold FAQ

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold did not receive a price increase this year, so it remains at $1,799 for the 256GB. The 512GB model will cost you $1,919.

Google claims that the 4,650mAh capacity battery will last you a full 24 hours with mixed usage.

Google is promsing updates for 7 years. This includes Feature Drops, OS updates and Security updates. Meaning that you will be getting updates until August 2031.

Google says that they worked hard to optimize the Tensor G4, and especially focused on pain points of apps taking a while to open and load. In our testing, we've found that it is definitely about 20-30% faster than the Tensor G3, matching Google's claims.

That is entirely up to you. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold did get a huge redesign this year, and plenty of changes that make it a much better foldable, but this is still a second-generation foldable from Google. So there's still a possibility for some issues to arise. It likely, really comes down to the trade-in value you'd get for your Google Pixel Fold.
